Hi,
I want to be able to paste in some custom code in the format {{something here="value"}} into the editor but upon doing so obviously the characters get converted to html entities and also get wrapped in a <p> tag.
How can I prevent this? I can create plugin (and probably will do eventually) but i fear that the same will happen when i insert the code into the editor (using editor.insertHtml)
It's probably worth noting that the code will get interpreted by the server before printing it out to the screen, hence why the code must remain unaffected in the source.
Oh and subsequent saves/edits of the page should leave the code intact i.e. if I go back to the post a few weeks last and re-save the editor content, then the custom code should remain as it is intended, rather than get htmlified again.
Thanks

Re: Insert custom code without being htmlified
I've been working on this for a similar reason. Look here http://www.blazingimages.com/using-sourcer-with-ckeditor-for-joomla
