Inline CSS

I am using CKEditor 3.1 with Drupal 6.1 and am having an issue with inline CSS styles being stripped from the output. When I view the HTML source within CKEditor, I can see my inline style but when I look at the rendered page, the inline style is gone. I have gone through CKEditor and Drupal and turned off all of the input filters but the CSS is still being removed. Does anyone know what I can do to correct the issue? Can I use inline styles with CKEditor?
