ISO-8859-1 vs UTF-8

It looks like this WYSIWYG editor converts certain characters into the ISO-8859-1 character-set, when I just want it to stay in the UTF-8 character set, is there any way to change this?

use a decode function on the data that is in the editor before manipulating it if you can't find the .js responsable for the encoding(i couldn't find it eighter)

Maybe it helps to put this in the config.js?

config.entities = false;

tried it...doesn't do anything although it should..
