Check that IE is allowing popups (at least it should prompt) and that you don't have any extra toolbars (recently lots of people got Chrome and the Google toolbar when they tried to update Flash, so I've had to spend some time cleaning up those "infections" and the mess that they create)
Actually, no. Even with popup blocker on it will work if you turn off a setting called "Enable Protected Mode" in Internet Options > Security. That must be on by default?
