Hey guys,
Got a big problem with the new version , on ie8- if you add a style using background:url() it get completely stripped from the source, same problem with background-image:url()
It can be reproduce in your demos as well.
code example:
<div style="text-align: center; width: 800px; background: url('http://symple2.com/editor_images/image_c88658f6/Patterson Farms/Fresh Produce/PattersonProduceEadsmallheader_02_419.jpg') repeat-y scroll left top transparent;"> test</div>
Re: Huge issue, background:url() get stripped on ie8-
I don't think that there are any changes about how inline styles are handled.
Re: Huge issue, background:url() get stripped on ie8-
But not i am not 100% sure,
also I thought it could be one of the new plugin.I disabled docprop, same problem, but I can't disable showblock since its built-in
Re: Huge issue, background:url() get stripped on ie8-
I did a quick test with some old code and it behaved the same way with your sample code.
If you want to be sure, then just download the previous version that you think that worked OK and do the tests.
If it's a regression then it should be "easier" to fix as it would be possible to find exactly when did stop working. You can test the commits here: http://rev.ckeditor.com/
Re: Huge issue, background:url() get stripped on ie8-
Its been an issue for sometimes, 5X00 gave me the same problem
However, I found that 4020 was working the first time you came back from the source, it would still break if you hit 2 time the source button..
Anyway, hope it helps.
Re: Huge issue, background:url() get stripped on ie8-
FYI, this issue is tracked in ticket #7935.
