How to cancel the "<p>" tag on the start?

hello, i am using CKEditor and it's making to me <p> on the start and i dont want this tag(it's make problems...)
how i can make the editor don't make this tag?

I to have this issue. But what it is really doing is inserting

<p>
{tab}My Text</p>

This is causing major problems with the aspell spelling checker because it is actually passing in:

tMy> My Text
