First time user

We have ckfinder. It was purchased by my company and utilized by an outside development agency.

I'm trying to use it for the first time today. I think this is a very basic question that normally I wouldn't have to ask, but: How do you place a ckeditor control onto a web page? The existing code that we have has <textareaa> HTML controls on the website, but in the runtime state they become ckeditor controls with the toolbars, etc.

How does that happen?
