What seems to be a bug in 3.01:
I have a page with 4 textareas on it, all replaced by instances of CKEditor 3.01. It works fine under FireFox. Under IE 8.0, it displays the first CKeditor instance then gives the above error message on "line 22". The IE debugger highlights this code:
if(!z.$.submit.nodeName)z.$.submit=e.override(z.$.submit,function(B){return function(){x.updateElement();if(B.apply)B.apply(this,arguments);else B();};});
If I continue the debugger (F5) 4 times, the page displays normally and seems to be fine. If I do not debug, only the first editor area is displayed.
I have another page with 6 editor instances that does the same thing. The non-working pages are .asp pages. I have .aspx .net pages that have multiple instances of the editor, and they work fine.
The following is in my <head> section:
<script type="text/javascript" src="/ckeditor/ckeditor.js"></script>
The following are the editor instances:
<textarea name="qiv_1" id="qiv_1"><p>Now is the</p></textarea>
<script type="text/javascript">CKEDITOR.replace('qiv_1',{height : '250px'});</script>
<textarea name="qiv_2" id="qiv_2"><p>Time for all</p></textarea>
<script type="text/javascript">CKEDITOR.replace('qiv_2',{height : '250px'});</script>
<textarea name="qiv_3" id="qiv_3"><p>great men to</p></textarea>
<script type="text/javascript">CKEDITOR.replace('qiv_3',{height : '250px'});</script>
<textarea name="qiv_4" id="qiv_4"><p>come to the aid</p></textarea>
<script type="text/javascript">CKEDITOR.replace('qiv_4',{height : '250px'});</script>
There is a copy of this online that I can send you a link to via pm.
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place...This is the only place I know.

bestmvpatel, what version of CKEditor? Just so you know, we don't backport fixes from v4 to v3. Only way to fix this if you're using CKEditor 3 is to upgrade to the latest version.
