Editing area color help??

Complete newbie question: I just installed/enabled CKeditor on my Drupal 6.x instance. I also enabled all the buttons in the CK configuration section. But when I look at the editing screen for anything the background is dark blue with black and blue text. I tried changing the back color and fore color with no better results. How does one alter this appearance as the default so I can at least read the text????

Which version ?
What theme and which version of Drupal do you use ?

We use Drupal 6.22, CKEditor 3.6.1.7072 and the theme is our own custom theme. Is the ckeditor using the css from our custom theme? How can one tell? :?:

If you use mentioned drupal module, CKEditor should use your theme css. You can set this setting in CKEditor's Profile Configuration in CSS tab.
