Changing protocol with a custom file uploader

Hello,

I couldn't afford CKFinder so I made my own. It works pretty good, but I can't figure out how to switch the protocol to <other> after I file quick upload. Currently, CKEditor tacks on "http://", which then breaks my relative URL's.
