Can I change it somehow? CKEditor is created via php ($instance->editor()). If the user submits a form, and there are errors, i simply want to add a red border to fields which are not correct. I've done it on normal text inputs, jquery uniform file inputs, selectboxes, but I failed with CKEditor. In the html source, I can see a <span> element with id "cke_INSTANCENAME" (eg. cke_ctext), but $('#cke_ctext').css('border-color','#ff0000'); is not working. Any ideas, or solutions?

Re: Change border color at runtime
I made a workaround I disabled the border in the skin (kama), and placed the editor in a div, which has the same border that the editor had. The "look" is the same, but now I can change the border color of the div. Also I can now add a title attribute, so the browser can display the error message on mouseover.
