Cancel update for CKEDITOR.replace()?

Is there a simple way to stop the editor updating the original div when using CKEDITOR.replace? I want to be able to cancel the edit.

Any ideas? I'm circumventing the process by keeping a copy of the original div atm but can't believe there isn't a way to di it through the api!

Hi, there's a optional param for editor::destroy() method which doesn't update the element when remove the editor:
