The current default toolbar sort of reflects the functionality of MS Word pre 2007.
But in 2007, MS introduced the ribbon, which improved the usability and friendliness of Office products by leaps and bounds... even though people who were used to the toolbar were opposed to it at first. (Now, I don't like Microsoft one bit, but as someone who designs software, and user experiences, I think it is a great idea)
Does CKEditor have an ability to customize the toolbar such that there are tabs like the ribbon?
Is there a ribbon plugin?
I was just thinking: with the release of CKEditor 4, it would be a shame to have to do inline editing with that massive toolbar following you around. A thing or two could be learned from Aloha's UI concepts.
