CKEditor not working on Firefox 3.6.18 nor 5.1 this morning

I did clean the cache.

And, as I said, I also ran a brand new install of Firefox 5.1, which showed the same problem.

One thing, I'm running on Linux Mint.

Another thing, my Yahoo Mail (heavily javascript based) also stopped working this morning on Firefox 3.6.18.

Otherwise, is there any other way to clean the cache than using the Tools -> Clean recent history menu option ?

Is it working fine with your IE ?

I removed all files in the Cache with the command

rm -fr .mozilla/firefox/1dg91w28.default/Cache/*

but it did not help.

I also removed all sessionstore files with the comand

rm -fr .mozilla/firefox/1dg91w28.default/sessionstore*

but it did not help even after a restart.

After removing the whole .mozilla/firefox directory it worked again.

Strange that clearing the cache from the menu did not solve the issue.
