Let me preface all of this by saying (1) I'm old (60 - feel like 90, today), and (2) I'm not very bright to begin with...... Anyway, I've been successfully using the CKeditor (ver 3.6.2) for the last year to edit some menus on an old, static, HTML website which I've converted, largely, to PHP. For instance, I am using the DHTML Smooth Menu from DynamicDrive and I can edit the thing with CKeditor, make it a php include, and it saves a lot of time. But I constantly have to remove the body, html, etc. tags that CKeditor adds to the code. As long as I remember to remove that stuff manually (at the top, and, at the bottom) it works. Also, I am using the "fullpage" template, which is possibly a mistake - a lot of this stuff is still unclear to me. From reading on the web, today, it seems that I could add the following line to my config file to rid of this - but I've edited the code (never touched this file before today) so that it look like this, and it it still adds those tags:
CKEDITOR.editorConfig = function( config )
{
config.fullPage = false;
}
What the hell am I doing wrong? God bless anyone who answers!
