We are working on integrating CKEditor into phpBB 3.1 and things are looking good to start, but what we really need to figure out how to do is add our own custom bbcodes that would be parsed.
In phpBB, administrators have the ability to generate their own custom BBCodes with a specified bbcode input and HTML replacement.
So what we want to do is to somehow take both the custom bbcode and the HTML replacement, hand it over to CKEditor, and have it able to insert the custom bbcodes with proper display.
For example, the administrator could use the following bbcode and HTML replacements:
The user would enter the {TEXT} between the blue tags and it would get parsed in the output between the span tags.
Is there a way to do something like this?
