Hi,
First I want you to know that I am not a web developer, and my knowledge of HTML and the CKEditor are very slim at best. So although this problem seems easy my Seach forum/Googling skills are not enough to solve it.
The version of the editor is 3.6.2 and is running on IE6, a pluggin is defined and some commands are added to the toolbars. One of those commands should made a custom table or add some rows if there is an existing one. Create command is working, but when a table is existing I cannot add additional rows to it. I have tried many things but due to my none of them works. My best try looks like this:
table_body_ls = editor.document.getElementsByTag("tbody");
var table_body =table_body_ls.getItem(0);
var row = new CKEditor.dom.element("tr");
table_body.append(row);
ed.updateElement();
The element is found but I cannot modify at all, I have tried append, appendTo, insertHtml... , but nothing is working. I am pretty sure that this is because I am HTML challenged, yet I really need help . Any help will be appriciated.
