I took a little time to go over the latest beta source... and I like the cleaner OO style.. however I'm still behind in terms of your design considerations / methods. So I'm hoping to find a comprehensive API doc somewhere - I guess I'm spoiled in that way... Any hope in this?
Also would really like to avoid the multiple http requests being made from the source loader. Will it be possible to compile all the classes in to a single js file?

Re: 3.x DOCS coming soon?
Are you playing with the release version or the SVN? In the release version, we'll find the first steps for the API documentation inside the "_docs" folder:
http://ckeditor.com/ckeditor/3.0b2/_docs/api/
Still a bit hard to follow, I know. We'll be working to make it better.
Actually, we have strong plans for the documentation. Check out one of the positions we are looking for at our jobs page:
http://www.fckeditor.net/jobs
Hopefully we'll have our Documentation Manager joining us soon. In any case, we'll much probably doing a huge documentation effort as soon as the Release Candidate goes public.
This may happen only if you are using the "ckeditor_source.js" file. The "ckeditor.js" file is fully compressed, containing the entire editor code and core plugins. You may check it by yourself at our online demo:
