I just upgraded from FCKeditor 2.6.4 to CKeditor 3.1. In the new version, the contents of an anchor tag without a href attribute or with an empty href attribute is invisible in the WYSIWYG mode. The content used to be visible in FCKeditor and is visible when the actual page is vieved in the web browser (Safari, Firefox).
If the href attribute is set and not empty, the content becomes visible
Is this a bug, or shouldn't the anchor content be visible at all according to HTML standards?
<a name="myAnchor">This anchor content is invisible in the CKeditor editing area</a> <a href="" name="myAnchor">This anchor content is invisible in the CKeditor editing area</a>

Re: 3.1 Bug? Anchor content invisible when no/empty href att
Is there a URL to find the current bug list for CKEditor?
Re: 3.1 Bug? Anchor content invisible when no/empty href att
This problem is unacceptable - I just ran into it myself, and it is totally broken. It eats the entire anchor if you attempt to use the source view too!
Reproducible in the demo on the site *still*
Re: 3.1 Bug? Anchor content invisible when no/empty href att
I have a video showing the problem as it occurs in firefox on the site web page:
