How can I customize Styles Parser style menu items in CKEditor

I am using the plugin Styles Parser to put my custom styles in the Styles menu. It works great except for how it "styles" each menu item. The items appear as the style defines it. This is a problem if there is a background image or a really large font size or a div with a height. How can I make the Styles Parser menu items all appear as just plain text?
