Out of curiosity, why is everything in the zip file on one level? It appears that it should be folders inside of the zip but instead it is just a lot of files "ckeditor\_docs\api\files.html" and not in directories like I would expect (ckeditor > _docs > api > files.html)? Am I missing something?

Man, your zip utility seems to react strangly. It works like charm here, and all the directory structure is created as expected.
Great to hear that 3.0 is on its way. But any chance you could have a working demo installation? That would be a lot more useful for trying it out than having to go through the download and install routine.

Just the built in OSX unarchiver... It may have something to do with the backslashes... but not exactly sure why it would be archived like that. I just know that it unarchives without any folder structure in OSX.
Just out of curiosity I tried it on Ubuntu 8.10 and it does the same thing.
Just a minor issue, but on CKEditor.com you say "This version is not target to production sites". In correct English, it ought to say "This version is not targeted to...".
Many thanks for your effort... I am evry impressed by the ajax feature of creating and destroying the editor and by the double click on the div... If this is the starter... I cannot wait for the main course !!
So I am curious. Why the new editor? Are you going to use a library like jQuery or something to minimize your scripts and imporve stability. Are you going to reduce the number of JavaScript files?
Hello, We've noticed that the Paste from Word or Paste as Text in our current FCKEditor does not work with content brought in from Office 2007. Will these work in the new editor? Thank you.
