A customer of ours purchased a license for CKFinder earlier this month. When we use the developer license for testing the implementation we get the message
"Product license has expired. Please visit the CKFinder web site to obtain a valid license."
How can it be expired when our customer bought it earlier this month?

Joost

Confused....
4.2.1? You mean the CKEditor version?
Or do you mean CKFinder 2.4.1?
We have downloaded en installed
from the CF tab on http://cksource.com/ckfinder/download, but still this does not work

Could you use the contact
Could you use the contact form and provide the order information so that we could have a look at it using exactly the same license details?
Ideally, please send an email to us and attach the configuration file (with the license information provided in it), we'll verify it. Thank you!
PS. Make sure that after the update you cleared the browser cache. To double check the issue, you may try the browser you haven;t tried yet, or unpack CKFinder in a different location than before.

I have checked your licenses
I have checked your licenses and it works for CKFinder 2.4.1 but not for 2.4.
You haven't upgraded to the right version.
Wrong version
Above (http://ckeditor.com/comment/129958#comment-129958) I mention how I downloaded it from your site.
Maybe you can mail me the proper version?

You should download version 2
You should download version 2.4.1 from http://cksource.com/ckfinder/download and that is it.
Please make sure you don't have 2.4 code left and referenced somewhere.
Please also replace both Server and Client side code and not e.g. only client-side.
One last please - please clean your server cache or at least restart it once you have removed CKFinder 2.4 to make sure this older version isn't used.
Cache issue?
Well, after several tries and completely removing all relevant code and adding it again, it seems to work. Could it have been a caching issue? We have cleaned up our cache several times however.
Maybe. Or you initially didn
Maybe. Or you initially didn't remove all the relevant parts.
