Custom Editor Not Working

Hey guys I'm new here but have a quick question...

I'm trying to run a custom build of CKEditor but when I put it on my server it doesn't let me edit or use any buttons...

However when I change the call to the script to the Standard version (not custom), it works fine.

What am I doing or not doing right?

There might be a 3rd-party

There might be a 3rd-party plugin that's messing things up. All plugins that are published by CKSource are official plugins, so they will always work with the latest release of CKEditor. Other plugin distributors do not offer this guarantee. Some might work with older versions of CKEditor only.

I am not using any custom

I am not using any custom plugins. I'm using CKBuilder and when I use it, it doesn't work correctly. However when I install a preset version, it works fine.

All I'm doing is putting the files in \ckeditor and an html file on the root with the following code:

        <title>A Simple Page with CKEditor</title>

        <script src="ckeditor/ckeditor.js"></script>
    </head>
    <body>
        <form>
            <textarea name="editor1" id="editor1" rows="10" cols="80">
                This is my textarea to be replaced with CKEditor.
            </textarea>
            <script>
                // Replace the <textarea id="editor1"> with a CKEditor
                // instance, using default configuration.
                CKEDITOR.replace( 'editor1' );
