Installation

I've downloaded CKEditor - it looks like it will do exactly the things I need - installed it via the extension manager....and nothing.

It's enabled in the plug-in menu but when I create a new article, the editor is still the default one.

Any suggestions please?

I presume you are using the Joomla or Drupal module? You should read the readme. Just installing the extension isn't enough. You have to also install CKEditor:
