FCKeditor 2.6.6 released!
A new bug fix release of FCKeditor is available. Although we encourage everyone to upgrade to CKEditor, we still know that many people are using the good and old FCKeditor 2.x. We have fixed important issues affecting FCKeditor users, including Safari 3 compatibility, Firefox 3.6 compatibility (under ColdFusion) and a problem with infinite loops in IE.

Fck editor's bold and italic not working
my fck editor isn't letting me bold or italic and some of the paragraph formatting/spacing is acting up. Does simply mean that I need to upgrade. I will eventually upgrade to CKeditor, but now isn't a great time for it. Just need to know if there is something I am not doing properly.

This should definitely work
Those are prety basic features of FCKeditor, so it must definitely work. There must be something else on your installation which is breaking it. It's hard for us to help though as we're no longer supporting FCKeditor. I would definitely recommend upgrading sooner than later.

I know you probably had to, but I still like the old FCKeditor much better then everything else new on the market. If you are not that great with javascript or jQuery, FCKeditor is still the thing to use. With the beautiful FamFamFam skin it is still sitting proud in my own CMS.
If you ever consider continuing the FCKeditor project, loads of developers will be forever greatful.

Hey Marinka! It's always nice to see messages like that.
In any case, I strongly recommend you giving a chance to CKEditor 3. It's way better than FCKeditor 2 and it is actively mantained.
Anyway... I have also some strong love feeling to my good and old FCKeditor.

CKEditor got toooo much BUGS when working with modal dialogs...
I was working with latest 3.x but found out lots of cruitial bugs when working with modal dialogs....
So i went back to the good old 2.6.6
Could you provide us some samples?

ck editor not working in hosting environment
I implemented it in ASP.net in C# and tested its compatibility with Firefox from a demo. It works fine when on a local machine but when the demo is setup at server, it still does not work as it does in other browsers. Is there anything I might have missed somewhere?

Too much data into the FCKeditor
Hi,
I am trying to submit a form where I have a FCKeditor with too much data in it. It takes about 4 minutes to get to the server because it takes too long to send the data. Is the another way to read the data of the editor? Maybe by saving at real time the data in a temp file to read it later at the server? Please, I don´t know waht to do. Does anybody have any idea?

FCK Edit Table Function
I have a table in my FCK Editor and I am deleting this table by right clicking the table and the Click the save button on my page. It gives me error that A is Null from fckeditorcode_gecko.js.? can anyone help on this? After this I cannot add ned table or do anything with this fckeditor. please help

Fck not working in hosting environment
Sir,
FCK is simply awesome. It works fine in the local machine. I used it with C# & asp.net 2.0. However, the uploader hangs in the actual server hosting environment, whenever i try to upload any file. I have setup all the settings related to path etc, as required. kindly tel me a way around the problem.
