First off let me say I LOVE THIS EDITOR
OK, now that this is out of my system...LOL...now the question.
In the main editor window the font size is perfect but in the "source" window it is thin and smaller than my poor old eyeballs are able to see comfortably.
In the first image is the front end in the second one is the source window when toggled.
How to increase the source part to look like the main part looks?
I went into the contents.css file and tried to change several places but that did not work. So I tried adding at the bottom of the file
#cke_contents.cke_contents.cke_reset .cke_source.cke_reset.cke_enable_context_menu.cke_editable.cke_editable_themed.cke_contents_ltr, #cke_bottom.cke_bottom.cke_reset_all { font-size: 12pt; line-height: 1.5em; color: black; }
even added the second part to this section
.cke_editable, .cke_editable_contents { font-size: 12pt; line-height: 1.6; color: black; }
but that did not do anything either. How to increase the font-size or appearance in general so that it looks like the main page
I can edit php and css files rather nicely but this one is being stubborn...please advise as to what I need to do.
The change is done in skins
The change is done in skins/moono/presets.css. You can override it with any external CSS along with size, color. Anything you want. CKEditor uses the font-family: 'Courier New' , Monospace; for .cke_source. If someone wants to change it – no problem. Note that “Monospace” isn’t an exact font name but some kind of fallback. If there’s no “Courier New” font in the system, the browser will use the OS’s default monospace font, whatever that font is.
