Hi,
I've searched these forums but I haven't found an issue that exactly describes my problem. When I go to upload an Image I have my web.config set to fix the beginning of the path but I"m getting an additional apendage of 'Image/" onto all of my entries. So a path that should look like this:
../../images/theimage.jpg
winds up looking like this:
../../images/Image/theimage.jpg
What file do I need to alter to stop it from appending the extra Image?
Thanks in advance, rdove84.

Re: Image Upload Issue
Any chance you could specify a different directory for the FCK uploaded files?

Re: Image Upload Issue
Ah, finally some progress, I'll just throw this out their in case some one checks this forum. I made two file changes, one to the frmresourcelist.html (filemanager\browser\default) and to the fck_image.js (editor\dialog\fck_image). No one solution was working exactly so I wound up combining solutions to make it work.
In the frmresoucelist I wound up making this change: (thanks to archu136 in asp.net forum for this one).
// Get the optional "url" attribute. If not available, build the url.
var oFileUrlAtt = oNodes[j].attributes.getNamedItem('url') ;
sCurrentFolderUrl = '/images/'; //this allowed me to get rid of the '/Image' being appended to any images I uploaded
var sFileUrl = oFileUrlAtt != null ? oFileUrlAtt.value : sCurrentFolderUrl + sFileName ;
In the fck_image.js I added this code to the end of the UpdateOriginal code: (thanks to Vinogays, same forum)
var mySite = 'http://www.mywebsite.com/'; //the address to your website ex: 'http://www.mywebsite.com' (no '/' at the end)
if(GetE('txtUrl').value.substr(0,7) != 'http://') //test if the path is not already absolute
{
GetE('txtUrl').value = mySite + GetE('txtUrl').value; //if not the case, add the root path to webste
UpdatePreview();
}
Now to change the upload directory and maybe all will be well.
