Folder & files empty... WHY ? :(

Probably there's an error on the configuration or on the server, but it's impossible to provide the solution without more info.

You should try to use the Net panel in Firebug or a tool like Fiddler to check the responses from the connector.

Are you using CKFinder 1.4.2?

@ Millenius - what server side version of CKFinder are you using (PHP?)? Can you PM me your configuration file?

I was having this exact problem, then tried it in Chrome, and it worked fine. You need to upgrade to CKFinder 1.4.2, and make sure to clear your browser cache before you reload to load the new version.

It's not working on my live server, but it's working fine on my local one ... if someone got any clue, i ran out of brain ...

I haven't tested, but it might be a problem with the way that you have integrated CKEditor into your page. I know that if the same URL that is launched from CKEditor is used in a new window, it fails to show the folders, I forgot to check why this happens, but it could be related to the root of your problem: it tries to "talk" with CKEditor but it fails. I'm just making a guess, as I said I still haven't tested anything.

I have tried some approaches to try to make it fail, but I wasn't able to reproduce the problem (unless I don't configure properly the integration part), so if you want a better answer you might need to provide a page were the problem can be reproduced. Maybe Wiktor is able to find another way to debug your problem, but I can't state anything.

It looks like different domain is used for CKEditor and CKFinder.
If you're using CKFinder along with CKEditor, make sure that they're both running in the same domain.

For example, if your CMS is installed under http://example.com, CKEditor is located in http://example.com/ckeditor then the following configuration:

Even with a subdomain ? In this case for exemple main domain is www.domain.com and subdomain for beta release is dev.domain.com .

@arrakys - CKFinder does not support domain relaxation, so it will not work even when both application are running under different subdomains.
