According to the docs, when I paste from word the PasteFromWord plugin is automatically invoked and should clean up the HTML before rendering in the text box.
What I'm finding is that the Word HTML is not being removed when I paste directly into a CKEditor instance.
If I use the PasteFromWord button, the Word HTML is cleaned up as expected.
I'm using a fresh, untouched copy of CKEditor 3.6.3 (April 2012) downloaded a few minutes ago. I confirmed that this instance is being called by changing some configuration options (skin, width, ect).
I am using the php API:
What can I do to force all pasted text to be cleaned with the PasteFromWord plugin? My users are not technically savvy and are going to forget to use the Paste From Word button more often than not.

Re: Automatic detection of MS Word text - not working. CKE 3
I just tested the paste abilities on my Windows 7 sytem (MS Word 2007), and the additional formatting was automatically detected and removed.
I'm one of the few Linux users, and most of my staff will be using Windows and Office 2007, so I think this is a non-problem right now.
