Hi I have recently installed and started using FCKeditor 2.4.2 on .asp (VBscript) web pages
I am having a problem with it automatically adding <p></p> tags into the code if I use the format drop down or have styles that place formats such as <h1></h1> around the selected text. It does not do it if the style does not implement an associated format tag.
I understand this was a fairly common problem a short time ago.
I have looked at numerous postings about it on this and other forums. Programmer1980's post
https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.p ... id=4207579
appeared very helpful however I was unable to find
else
{
if (FCKConfig.IgnoreEmptyParagraphValue&&C.body.innerHTML=='<P> </P>') B='';
else B=FCKXHtml.GetXHTML(C.body,false,A);
};
in the FCKeditor->editor->js-> fckeditorcode_gecko.js and fckeditorcode_ie.js files.
Does anyone know if this code has been changed in FCKeditor 2.4.2?
If it hasn't any ideas where I can find it?
Either way any ideas about how to fix the problem of FCKeditor adding unwanted & unneeded <P> tags?
