FCKEditor 2.x vulnerability - Trojan.Swifi

This week one of our sites was attacked by Trojan.Swifi by way of the FCKEditor directory. We have since cleaned it up. Going forward do you guys email your registered users/developers when a new exploit is discovered? How do I go about receiving a notice via email should a vulnerability be discovered again?
