## Properties

<a id="member-preferredExternalTableType">

### `preferredExternalTableType: TableType`

Sets the preferred type for loading external tables.

This setting overrides the default detection method and uses the specified type ('content' or 'layout').

```typescript
ClassicEditor
	.create( {
		table: {
			tableLayout: {
				preferredExternalTableType: 'content' // or 'layout'
			}
		}
	} )
	.then( ... )
	.catch( ... );
```

### `stripFigureFromContentTable?: boolean`

When set to `true`, the editor strips the `<figure>` tag from the table data with the "content" type.

```typescript
ClassicEditor
	.create( {
		table: {
			tableLayout: {
				stripFigureFromContentTable: true // or false
			}
		}
	} )
	.then( ... )
	.catch( ... );
```
