# ModelInsertContentEvent

typedef

Event fired when [`insertContent`](module_engine_model_model-Model.md#function-insertContent) method is called.

The [default action of that method](module_engine_model_model-Model.md#function-insertContent) is implemented as a listener to this event so it can be fully customized by the features.

**Note** The `selectable` parameter for the [`insertContent`](module_engine_model_model-Model.md#function-insertContent) is optional. When `undefined` value is passed the method uses [document selection](module_engine_model_document-ModelDocument.md#member-selection).
