# ViewDocumentClipboardOutputEvent

Fired on [event-copy](module_engine_view_document-ViewDocument.md#event-copy) and [event-cut](module_engine_view_document-ViewDocument.md#event-cut) with a copy of the selected content. The content can be processed before it ends up in the clipboard.

It is a part of the [clipboard output pipeline](../framework/deep-dive/clipboard.md#output-pipeline).
