# ViewDocumentDragLeaveEvent

typedef

Fired when the user drags the content out of one of the editing roots of the editor.

Introduced by [`ClipboardObserver`](module_clipboard_clipboardobserver-ClipboardObserver.md).

**Note**: This event is not available by default. To make it available, [`ClipboardObserver`](module_clipboard_clipboardobserver-ClipboardObserver.md) needs to be added to the [`ViewDocument`](module_engine_view_document-ViewDocument.md) by using the [`addObserver`](module_engine_view_view-EditingView.md#function-addObserver) method. This is usually done by the [`Clipboard`](module_clipboard_clipboard-Clipboard.md) plugin, but if for some reason it is not loaded, the observer must be added manually.
