FCKeditor 2.4 released

Welcome to the past! 👻
Unfortunately, FCKeditor is no longer maintained. RIP ❤️

Instead, you can check our new and powerful rich text editor framework, CKEditor 5. It has a modular architecture, integrations with popular JavaScript frameworks and features like real-time collaborative editing.

Or, you can discover CKEditor 4, which is an enterprise-grade WYSIWYG editor with countless features and wide browser compatibility including the legacy ones.

Take me to the future ✨

This new version of FCKeditor introduces, as usual, many new and unique features to the editor, providing better output quality and nicer user experience.

The new Enter Key Handler, guarantees that the editor will behave in the way you want when users hit the enter key. You can configure it to produce <p>, <div> or <br> tags, and all browsers will behave in the same way.

In the other hand, the Keyboard Accelerator System makes it easy to configure the editor to use keyboard shortcuts in unlimited ways, putting the power of a dynamic editing experience at your fingers.

Not enough yet! Ok, we are working to enlarge our team, and contributors like Alfonso Martinez are bringing also exciting features like enhanced support for link anchors and better integration with existing CSS design, other than bugs fixing.

That's it! Have fun, with FCKeditor 2.4!
