CKEditor Weekly for March 31, 2014

We're back with another edition of CKEditor Weekly. There's considerable progress with CKEditor 4.4 and another minor release will be out soon. Read on for more... 

CKEditor in review

  • CKEditor 4.3.4 was released last week. It introduced a variety of fixes and changes. You can read the release blog here

  • Development for CKEditor 4.4 should be closed sometime this week. Testing will begin afterwards for a couple of weeks, which means the much-awaited 4.4 will be out soon!

  • Team is working on another minor release: CKEditor 4.3.5. It will include a couple of bug fixes.

  • Responsibility for the Code Snippet plugin has been assigned to Olek Nowodzinski. It will be included in CKEditor 4.4.

  • The Media Embed plugin is up for review. It will allow media embedding in CKEditor 4.4.

  • Sarona.co.uk posted a blog explaining how to make CKEditor work with a migrated store in IBM's Feature Pack 7 Websphere Commerce.

  • The CKEditor Basic, Standard and Full packages for version 4.3.4 have been added to nuget.org.

  • Gelathub's CKEditor integration gem for Rails has been updated to version
