CKEditor 3.5.1 Released!
Welcome to the past! 👻
Unfortunately, CKEditor 3 is no longer with us. RIP ❤️
Instead, you can check our new and powerful rich text editor framework, CKEditor 5. It has a modular architecture, integrations with popular JavaScript frameworks and features like real-time collaborative editing.
Or, you can discover CKEditor 4, which is an enterprise-grade WYSIWYG editor with countless features and wide browser compatibility including the legacy ones.
We are happy to announce the latest release of CKEditor. CKEditor 3.5.1 is a maintenance release that follows the latest major version of our flagship product, CKEditor 3.5. It includes almost a hundred fixes and enhancements that should make working with CKEditor smoother than ever before.
CKEditor Enhancements
This release contains a few enhancements to CKEditor styling system, including a way to quickly remove block-level styles using Styles and Paragraph Format drop-down lists. Since CKEditor is designed with wide browser compatibility in mind, a number of browser-specific problems were addressed. Bi-directional text support remains an important feature for us and this release includes several fixes for issues that might have occurred while using the RTL and LTR text direction feature.
Revised CKEditor Samples
In an effort to make getting acquainted with CKEditor a better experience, we have revised our sample pages. The samples are now described in much more detail and presented along with code snippets. These examples showcase various usage scenarios for CKEditor, from inserting a plain editor instance, through changing its interface language, color, skin, or output, to advanced customization using the JavaScript API.
All CKEditor samples can be found in the _samples
