As mentioned, KCFinder has this exact function. You can see a demo at http://kcfinder.sunhater.com/demos/multiple

The next CKFinder release might have this feature. Right now you can upload multiple files, but you can't move or delete multiple files once they are on the server.

I would love if multi-selecting a file (or even just selecting 1 file) would return a json string of values (maybe returning such data is an advanced option passed to the CKFinder) with information such as file path, file name, file size, etc. However, this part of the feature would be 'gravy'... what I really need is for it to have a multi-select feature exactly like the KCFinder.

This is exactly the thing that we're working on now.
