Hi,

What OS are you running and what is the exact version of your browser?
Do you have any other software enabled that may cause such problems, like firewall, antivirus? Could you please disable any software of that kind and try again?

We have tried to reproduce this problem in many different computers, with different Windows and IE versions. Everything works perfectly.

If there is really a problem, we need your help at this point, because it is impossible to fix it without reproducing it locally.

For that, I would ask you to please investigate your system and browser settings. Have you done any specific setting change? Does it work if you reset the security settings in IE? Does it work if you reset the advanced settings in IE? Does it work if you disable non standard IE toolbars (like Yahoo or Google), if you have them? Does it work if you disable the anti-virus?

Hi,

I appreciate the time you're taking for this issue. I really want to buy this plugin, the only problem is that the computer that has this problem is the computer of the person that we will use mostly our CMS...

It's a brand new Dell computer. So here is what I've did so far:

- I've disabled all the toolbars (Google and Adobe PDF were the only ones).
- I've closed the Avg Antivirus too.
- I've reset all the security settings, advanced settings.
- I've set the privacy setting to "Allow all cookies".

I've closed IE and restarted again and I still get nothing in the right column. Not in my website and not in http://www.fckeditor.net/extras/ckfinder.

It's working well in Firefox in both my website and your website.

Any idea?

Wow... I've never seen so many plugins :)

Do you think you are able to disable all of them and restart IE? I would love to find the culprit here. We are about to release CKFinder 1.1, and if anything is to be done at our side, this would be the right moment.

I've disabled all the add-ons (even flash...) and it's still not working...

I'm not getting an error message, nothing...

I'm a programmer myself, so I could debug whatever you'll ask me too..

Humm... this situation is frustrating, to both of us.

Do you have the same problem in other computer?

A final check would be using Fiddler to watch all requests made to the server, trying to get some possible errors from it. Also, let me know if you think it is possible to access that specific computer with something like LogMeIn. Maybe some hidden thing come to my eye. Hi,

I will use the LogMeIn option only as the latest option... Not that I do not trust you, but my boss is not so happy about it...

I have this problem only on one computer.

Ive included here the Session of Fiddler that you could open with fiddler to take a look what is being loaded in the CKFinder page.

I've looked at the Fiddler log. It doesn't tell much about invalid responses because, being CKFinder an Ajax application, the server replies in the same way to all browsers.

The log shows instead that the browser didn't request the list of files from the server at any moment. This information could be useful, has still not enough to help us understanding it.

I think that the only way would be investigating it directly in the affected computer, or even give a try with a pre-release version of CKFinder 1.1. Please contact me immediately for that: fredck A fckeditor D net. We should be releasing it today!
