As the title suggests, I'm trying to not allow the 'style' attibute on anchor tags but cant seem to do it
I have tried the following but it removes ALL 'style' attributes from all elements
config.allowedContent = {
$1: {
// Use the ability to specify elements as an object.
elements: CKEDITOR.dtd,
attributes: true,
classes: true
}
};
config.disallowedContent = 'a[style]';
if I include 'styles: true' in the allowedContent then all styles are allowed...I'm pulling my hair out here?
Please help!

That's because styles must be
That's because styles must be allowed separately just like classes. Allowing or disallowing all atributes does not affect the class and the style attributes. See the examples in the allowed content rules guide.

Thanks for the reply
But in no way was your comment useful in any way. I have been through the documentation. I have done an extensive search on the internet but found nothing, I was hoping that I could find help here in support but I guess there is no answer to this because its clearly obvious it cant be done
