Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
I am wondering if it's a bug or my configuration but (it just happened in Google Chrome):
When I click on "Explore the server" it opens a window that turns blank, then nothing. Cannot browse the server.

Please let me know if you experience the same thing.
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
Does it happen in Chrome 18 beta?

This is my version of Google Chrome (up to date) : 18.0.1025.142 m
I don't think it is a beta version.
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
Oops 18 is stable now. There is a bug in this version of Chrome related to resizeTo function.
We'll release a new minor version of CKFinder next week with a workaround for this issue.

Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
Ahhh thank you, having the same exact issue here with Chrome 18 (just updated today and also updated CKFinder to 2.2) and then boom... this bug! Will wait for this fix this week.

Thank you
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
My users are also reporting the same problem with Chrome 18.

Note that this problem is not *just* CKFinder - I created a window.opener reference as described in your documentation to hook to my own custom made image hosting. That window is also not working properly and has the same sizing issue.

The problem exists both in Windows and Mac, although it's a critical problem on Windows and just a minor annoyance on Mac (it's just resized small, and is still accessible).

If you could note what exactly you are going to change so we can go through our own applications that would be great.

thanks,
Kevin
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
Take a look here:
http://dev.ckeditor.com/ticket/8855

Of course that will help only those that can change their CKEditor files. The correct solution would be to get a Chrome 18.1 from Google addressing this problem.
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
A quick workaround ( at least for Windows ). When you launch CKfinder or any other window that suffers this problem, right click on the Windows taskbar button/icon for the Chrome window that disappeared, select "Maximize" and the window should appear. If it doesn't Right click, select "Size" then press your down arrow.

CKFinder 2.2.1 has just been released: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=25156

Documentation Manager, CKSource

See CKEditor 4.x docs, CKEditor 3.x docs, CKFinder docs for help. CKEditor general FAQ is useful, too!
If you think you found a bug in CKEditor, read this!

Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
We have just released CKFinder 2.2.1 where the popup issue is gone in Chrome 18, when CKFinder.popup() is used to launch CKFinder.

Note: in CKEditor the "Browse Server" button will not work even with CKFinder 2.2.1, because CKEditor contains the same piece of code that fails in Chrome 18. We will release soon CKEditor 3.6.3 where the issue will be gone (should happen next week).

I can't wait to downlaod the update for Ckeditor !
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
Any word if CKEditor 3.6.3 will be released this week?
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
news?
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
CKEditor 3.6.3 is now available! ;)

Apologies for the delay. CKEditor was ready for the release for a couple of days, but we had to make sure there are no regressions in it.

Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
Hello,

I still get this with the latest version of CKEditor and CKFinder, Chrome 20.0.1132.47 on Windows 7 x64.

I tried setting the filebrowserWindow size from JS but still to no avail.

The console is clean, there are no JS errors for the popup window. The window shows up when I maximize it by shift+right clicking on the taskbar button. It also shows up if i click on size and resize it manually this way.

Also, this doesn't seem to happen all the time.

Anyone know what may the cause be?
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
Getting this error now as well. Everything worked fine until last night maybe... noticed problem this afternoon.
Chrome probably updated itself.
Anybody know how to revert to an older version of chrome? I like my Chrome... but I need my file browser.
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
Yes, please check any of the forums. It's been reported multiple times and there's already a fix for it: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=25220
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
Chrome 20 still failing with the actual demo version of ckeditor at the dev web -> http://ckeditor.com/demo
If you make click on "view server" button the window dissapears and is impossible to use.
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
It was recently fixed. However, since I updated to Chrome 20 as of this morning, I've noticed that it's broken again. The same thing as before is happening like it did in version 18 of Chrome. Please let me know when the fix is out. Thanks.

Sorry, I didn't find the other topics.
I installed the nightly build and it works now, thanks! :D
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
Still not work on my Chrome V20.0. POP-UP window is not accessible. CKFinder version is 2.2.2.1 for PHP
Re: Google Chrome bug (?) Explore server
@crossray - download CKEditor 3.6.4 and the issue should be gone.
