CKEditor 3.3 released!

CKEditor is getting more and more stable, and this release comes to introduce changes that will help us shape its features, improving every detail of it.

This version brings a few new features to the editor, like double click to open dialogs for objects in the text (like images) and improved accessibility. It also brings important structural changes to the code, preparing it for the future support of “read-only” regions to come with CKEditor 3.4.

SCAYT by default

One important change in the editor, introduced in conjunction with CKEditor 3.2.2, is that SCAYT, the spell check as you type solution provided by SpellChecker.net, is now enabled by default. Users can now enjoy this powerful online service, bringing more quality to the content creation.

CKFinder 2.0 is here!

In conjunction with CKEditor 3.3, we’re pleased to announce CKFinder 2.0, the brand new major release of our powerful file manager. CKFinder can be easily integrated with CKEditor, making it easy to your users to create rich contents with images and files.

Check out the CKFinder web site for more information.

CKEditor 3.4 release date

When do you plan to release v3.4?

CKeditor and Mediawiki

Hi CKeditor,

is there a way to integrate ckeditor in mediawiki ?

I have tried the steps for fckeditor but it won't work with ckeditor

any help would be appreciated - it is a much wanted feature for alot of users.

Kind regards

MediaWiki Integration

We would also like to have this great editor for our Wiki.

MediaWiki

Same here... I'm really looking forward to the MediaWiki integration...

Mediawiki

you're waiting as we all do :(

I think having this mediawiki support would spread ckeditor much wider than only plain html support, perhaps wikipedia would use it?
